Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct 2021 is a software product that is designed for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors who want to create detailed models of ductwork systems and produce sheet metal components for fabrication. It is part of the Autodesk Fabrication suite, which also includes Fabrication ESTmep and Fabrication CADmep.

– Added manufacturer content and patterns: Select from thousands of added imperial content items and pattern templates. For example, additional pattern templates, such as round duct boards, floor drains and cleanouts, vented crossovers, and plugs, are available.

– Improved nesting efficiency: Use the nesting engine to optimize the layout of flat patterns on sheet metal. You can also use the offcut feature to reuse the leftover material from previous jobs.

– Enhanced NC writing and machine support: Generate NC code and cutting instructions for a variety of machines and technologies, such as plasma, laser, waterjet, and insulation cutting. You can also export NC files in different formats, such as CAMduct NC, DXF, and ESSI.

– Integration with Revit and BIM 360: Build and edit content and services in Fabrication CAMduct and use them to create ready-made models inside Revit building design software. Export your BIM model as a . MAJ file and import it into Fabrication CAMduct for manufacturing. Additionally, you can connect to BIM 360 Docs to access and upload project data in the cloud.
