Siemens Simcenter FEMAP 2401 with NX Nastran is a software package that combines the advanced functionality of the Windows-native pre- and post-processor with the powerful solver. It allows engineers to easily and efficiently solve complex engineering problems, linear statics, buckling, normal modes, heat transfer, and basic nonlinear. It also includes Dynamic Response and Teamcenter Share features for enhanced analysis and collaboration.
Siemens Simcenter FEMAP 2401 Features:
– Support for advanced simulation methods, and flexible body dynamics, using the Simcenter Nastran Multi-Step Nonlinear Kinematic solution, SOL 402.
The addition of Kinematic Joints and Joint Connections Simulation Entities, allows the user to establish how a kinematic to geometric entities and/or the existing mesh of the model.
– Addition of Flexible Sliders Simulation Entities, which allow the user to accurately simulate the deformation of curvilinear tracks as assembly components are displaced along them.
– Improved geometry modeling and meshing capabilities, such as automatic solid meshing, mesh quality checks, and mesh editing tools.
– Enhanced design optimization functionality, such as topology optimization, sensitivity analysis, and response surface methods.
