Thea For SketchUp v3.5 is a new version of 3D modeling software that integrates with Thea Render, a powerful rendering engine. It allows you to create stunning images of your designs and work interactively with cameras, materials, and lights. The extension supports SketchUp versions 2017 to 2023, on Windows and macOS. It also features UV Randomizer, Point Light intersection, Smart Coordinates Synchronization, and Intel Open Image Denoiser.
Thea For SketchUp v3.5 Features:
– UV Randomizer: Remove the repetition and randomize the material for all instances sharing the same one. You can use different values for UV offset, rotation, and scale to create variations in your textures.
– Bitmap Randomizer: Assign multiple bitmaps or procedurals to a channel, which will then be applied randomly to all instances sharing the same material. Control the probability of each texture by adjusting the weight percentage of each loaded bitmap.
– Random Glints: Enables you to create glittery surfaces with small mirror-like flakes that react to the light. Turn on this feature with a single click and adjust the glint size, density, and intensity.
– Substance 3D Materials Support: This feature allows you to open .sbsar files from within the Thea material editor and access the Substance 3D parameters. The native Substance 3D materials in your SketchUp models without converting them to Thea materials.
– Global Coordinates: Simplifies the coordinates handling of your materials. The coordinates of all bitmaps of a material at once, instead of going through each one of them individually.
– Support for Rhino Nature: This feature allows the Rhino Nature viewport representation of proxies while rendering the scattered objects in real-time. Nature scattering tool for the Rhinoceros to create realistic landscapes and environments.
