IronCAD 2022 is the latest release of the IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite, a comprehensive 3D CAD design software solution that offers powerful and intuitive tools for creating, editing, and collaborating on 3D models. IronCAD 2022 focuses on improving the productivity and quality of the design process.
IronCAD 2022 Features:
– Progress Bar on Long Operations: A new progress bar shows the status of the current operations, such as view creation, view update, change to shaded views, etc. You can also press the ESC key to cancel any long process commands.
– Auto Dimension Support for Bulk View Creation Template: You can now set the Auto Dimension tool on a per-view basis in templates used for the Bulk View Creation to automatically create dimensions when creating drawings. This can save time and effort in detailing your 3D designs.
– Box Select Creation of Ordinate Dimensions: During the Ordinate Dimension command, you can now box select areas to place ordinate dimensions to speed up the detailing process.
– Link Sheet Label to Scene/Document Properties: You can now associate properties to the sheet name in ICD to automatically define sheet names based on the content in the drawing. This can help you organize and manage your drawing sheets more easily.
– Magnify Glass Support for Annotating Smaller Areas: A new magnifying glass behavior has been added to the IronCAD Drawing Environment to improve the ability to annotate smaller areas of the drawing views that would normally require zoom-in/out processes. Simply press the hotkey G to magnify the area around the current cursor location which will allow precise highlight and selection on the zoomed-in area.
– IronCAD Mechanical 2022: IronCAD Mechanical is a powerful add-on application that extends IronCAD’s capabilities with specialized tools for mechanical design. IronCAD Mechanical 2022 adds brand new features and improvements to existing tools, such as:
– Numbering PartNumbers: A new tool to automatically number parts in a scene based on their properties or position. – Steels – CustomSteel – Pipe – Flange: New options to create custom steel profiles, pipes, and flanges with different parameters and standards. – Code Generator: A new tool to generate code from ICD drawings or scenes, such as G-code, CNC code, or custom code. – Face to DXF – Export Unfolded Part: A new option to export unfolded parts from ICD drawings or scenes as DXF files for fabrication or analysis. – Create Params By EXCEL: A new tool to create parameters from Excel files and apply them to parts or assemblies in IronCAD scenes. – IPROActiveManager: A new tool to manage and update IPROActive components in IronCAD scenes.
