PSA DiagBox 9 Overview:
PSA DiagBox 9 is a software product that allows the diagnosis of cars from the brands Peugeot, Citroen, DS, and Opel. It can also work with some Mitsubishi models that are built by PSA. Perform various functions, such as reading and clearing fault codes, displaying live data, coding, and programming, and updating the firmware of the electronic control units. It can also generate reports and print them. It requires a compatible interface, such as Lexia 3 or XS Evolution, to connect to the car’s OBD port.
PSA DiagBox 9 Features:
– SERMI (Secure functions that need authorization code OK), which allows access to some protected functions, such as key programming, immobilizer, BSI, ECU, etc. This feature requires a valid code from the manufacturer or a dealer.
– DTC car history, which shows the history of diagnostic trouble codes for each car, including the date, time, mileage, and description of the fault. This feature can help to identify the root cause of the problem and the frequency of occurrence.
– Offline telecoding, which enables the coding and configuration of options for cars without an internet connection. This feature is only available for cars until the 2016 model.
– Support for new models of both Peugeot and Citroen brands, as well as some Opel and Mitsubishi models built by PSA. The software can perform various functions, such as reading and clearing fault codes, displaying live data, coding and programming, and updating the firmware of the electronic control units.
